SHANGHAI, July 16, 2026 — EPG has broken ground on an expansion of its fully automated production line for data center container modules, along with supporting facilities, at Jinshan Plant 1. COO Johnny Zhang and Manufacturing Center General Manager Jun Fu led the ceremony, marking a new phase for one of the company’s core manufacturing bases and long-standing hubs for modular data center delivery.

Jinshan Plant 1, one of EPG’s core manufacturing bases, has long anchored the company’s modular data center manufacturing and delivery. As global AI infrastructure buildout accelerates and orders surge at home and abroad, the expansion targets Workshop 1, enlarging the production floor and bringing in state-of-the-art high-speed laser cutters and automated loading systems, alongside upgraded automated welding and coating lines. Together, these upgrades will sharpen production efficiency, capacity planning, and bulk-delivery capability, reinforcing the manufacturing backbone behind EPG’s global expansion.

“This expansion is a key response to rising demand,” said Jun Fu. “Capacity and automation will scale together once it’s complete. We’re working closely with all partners to keep the process safe, on standard, and on track for early completion and production.”
Jian Lu, Chief Engineer at supervising firm Shanghai Wanrun Construction Management, and Hua Wang, Shanghai General Manager of contractor Jiangsu Zhongyi Construction Group, both pledged strict quality standards and careful scheduling to deliver the new capacity on time, calling it a benchmark project for the industry.
Together with distinguished guests, EPG Chief Operating Officer Johnny Zhang joined in the ceremonial turning of the first soil to officially launch the Workshop 1 Expansion Project at Jinshan Plant, marking the start of full-scale construction.

The move reflects EPG’s broader strategy of scaling capacity, advancing automation, and setting industry benchmarks while deepening value for customers. With a high-standard smart manufacturing workshop and growing scale, EPG aims to strengthen delivery for clients worldwide — while continuing to evolve its proprietary manufacturing systems and deliver mature modular compute solutions for global digital infrastructure.
