EPG Malaysia Manufacturing Center Completes First Delivery of Overseas Lithium Battery Energy Storage Cabinets, Marking a New Phase in Global Delivery at Scale

On April 13, a major overseas lithium battery energy storage cabinet project reached a key milestone as the first batch of 5 units was successfully delivered to the customer’s project site. This marks the project’s official entry into large-scale, batch delivery operations. With a total of 42 cabinets to be delivered under the contract, the successful completion of this first batch further demonstrates the mature execution capabilities of EPG’s Malaysia manufacturing base.

The delivery was the result of close coordination between EPG’s teams in Malaysia and China across every critical phase of the project. The Malaysia manufacturing center independently managed and executed the full workflow on the ground, from core component integration and lithium battery cabinet installation to wiring and final on-site setup, while efficiently mobilizing local resources. The Shanghai manufacturing center provided deep backend technical and production support, enabling seamless cross-regional collaboration.

LIM WEE SIONG, Plant Manager of EPG’s Malaysia Manufacturing Center, commented: “Throughout this project, the Malaysia team was actively engaged across integration, site coordination, and delivery execution, working in close alignment with our China team to ensure the first batch was delivered on schedule. This delivery also validates our Malaysia manufacturing center’s execution capability for projects of this type. We have now established a standardized overseas integration and delivery pathway, and the experience gained here provides a replicable model for larger-scale overseas orders going forward.”

As a key part of EPG’s global manufacturing footprint, the Malaysia manufacturing center successfully closed the full loop from order intake to on-site delivery on this project, demonstrating strong professional competence and reliable execution. The team continuously refined their approach across manufacturing integration, site management, multilingual communication, cross-border collaboration, and operational standards alignment, building a standardized, practical framework for scaling similar projects in the future.

This delivery marks another step forward in EPG’s global delivery capabilities. The Malaysia manufacturing center has now made the transition from single-project execution to batch production and delivery, laying a solid operational foundation for the full rollout of all 42 cabinets under the contract.

Going forward, EPG will continue to leverage the Malaysia manufacturing centers local advantages to optimize global production coordination, delivering shorter lead times and greater fulfillment certainty for customers’ overseas new energy projects
